Promoting the knowledge & love of gardening
Participating in civic beautification
Providing conservation education
Welcome
We are the Hanover, New Hampshire Garden Club, whose members have come together from all over the Upper Valley since 1936 to promote the knowledge and a love of gardening, participate in civic beautification, and educate residents on conservation and sustainability issues in this corner of northern New England.
What we do
Our growing season may be less than half the year, but the Hanover Garden Club nourishes members’ appetites for growing and designing with plant material through all twelve months. All Upper Valley gardeners and garden enthusiasts are very welcome to join in our fun!

Want to know more about our history?
Have you ever wondered why the Hanover Town Gardens have played such a significant role in the activities of the Hanover Garden Club through the years? Our member and former president Sandra Johnson will take you back in time to how the gardens got started and how they have evolved over multiple decades. From the days of Julius Mason, to the designs of Susan Berry, to the destiny of Case Ohz, it is a fascinating story.
