The Succulent Interest Group is sharing their knowledge of making Hypertufa pots with other Members during two sessions on Thursday, 9/14. What’s Hypertufa? It looks like stone, but is made of cement, peat moss and vermiculite, so it's lighter than it looks. The pots can be small or large, depending on the mold one uses. The two part mold can be plastic bowls, cardboard boxes, or even a plastic bag. Google “Hypertufa” to learn more. There will be a morning and afternoon session, each limited to 6 people. We ask that you bring a two part mold, if possible, and $5 for materials. Sign up at this secure page (Members know the Password). More info will be sent to participants soon, and it's as easy as making mud pies!
